Then when pain res activates, it activates on the 99'd gen so any others are safe. Then I just finish the 99d gen (which is then at 91 I think instead) Now instead I can 99 a gen, activate this perk, and if I get fewer than 9 tokens before pain res happens I'll use it on that ...
